The Bad

* Oh, Hi Insomnia, short time no see

* Stress has gifted me with an irritable bowel which has been upset since The Migraine from Hell which hit on Easter Sunday - that was an awful 12.5hrs at work because there was NO ONE who could cover me.

* There's a rumour going round work that the lab manager is having an inappropriate relationship with a junior member of staff, it's been bloody difficult not to dry heave today because they've been each other's pockets all afternoon

The Good

* The new album from Texas - love it (but then I've been a fan from the outset)

* Taken Monday and Tuesday off so not back in work until next Friday night. Six days away from work - Yay!

Time away from the lab brings clarity and peace. I'm being more pro-active about getting time away from work this year.
